A successful rescue simulation by KNRM Scheveningen and SafeTrx Active

Scheveningen, April 15, 2022. The water sports season is about to commence and together with KNRM Scheveningen we held a safety demonstration for the media and press to spread the word of safety and how the SafeTrx Active watch can help keep you safe at sea. For the demonstration we simulated a rescue to showcase the simplicity of the watch. Stand Up Paddler, Mara van der Schaaf paddled more than 2km offshore, she raised an assistance alert and each person received her location via the SafeTrx Web App. Using the search light feature everyone could see exactly how to get to Mara from their location. Australian Outriggers Canoe Racing Association Choose SafeTrx Flotilla

We are delighted to announce that the Australian Outriggers Canoe Racing Association (AOCRA) has chosen SafeTrx Flotilla to safely track participants at their national and international events. With over 4,000 members, AOCRA is the national governing body for the sport of outrigging canoe paddling in Australia and is responsible for the governance, management and administration of the sport at a national level. An increasingly popular water sport, outrigger canoe paddling has its origins in the coastal culture of the Pacific rim region. AOCRA oversees and organises racing throughout Australia, working with individual state zones to run events throughout the country. 960 SafeTrx Rescue Missions initiated in 2021

Accurate and continuous position information is critical for Search & Rescue responders. SafeTrx continually monitors the casualty’s location from first alert to recovery, providing reassuring protection when and where it’s needed the most. Official reports from our Search & Rescue partners in 11 countries show that in 2021, SafeTrx was involved in over 960 search and rescue missions in locations across the globe, from Europe to Australia. The Netherlands alone saw a significant 68% increase in the number of SafeTrx missions on the previous year.
